Searching for a string in all files contents (not only in text files)

Windows XP by default, makes searches in documents such as .doc and .txt. But if you want to search a criteria in any files in the disk (or folder) you may use WinPerfect to enable it.

From Advanced, click on Miscellaneous tab, check Enable Search for All File Types and click Apply. From then on, you may perform content searches in any files.
